First Health Part D Value Plus (PDP) for New Jersey

If you are entitled to Medicare Part A (enrolled or not) or currently enrolled in Medicare Part B you may join the First Health Part D Value Plus prescription drug plan. Unless you also receive benefits from Medicaid, enrollment in a Part D plan is voluntary. This plan is available in Newark, Jersey City, Camden, Paterson, Elizabeth, Edison, Woodbridge, Lakewood, Toms River, Hamilton, Trenton, Clifton, Cherry Hill, Passaic, Middletown, Union City, Old Bridge, Gloucester City, East Orange, Bayonne, Franklin, North Bergen, Vineland, Union, Piscataway, New Brunswick, Wayne, Irvington, Parsippany, and all other towns and cities in New Jersey.

What is First Health Part D?

The three plans offered by First Health Part D include Value Plus, Premier Plus and Essentials. Both the Value Plus and Premier Plus plans offer a no-deductible option which provides first-dollar coverage. The Premier Plus plan offers a complete coverage program as well as $1 copays for generic medications as well as savings when 90-day supplies of medications are ordered. The Premier Plus plan also offers home mail-order service for any medication orders.
